Agree with all said. Good information. Having said that, good or great nutrition is a basis to build on.
Proper conditioning for your sport, whatever it is, is crucial. To optimize training you need fast recovery so you can work out the next day. There are alot of unproven but very popular amino acid supplements that I just wouldn't feel safe taking, especially the younger you are!
One recovery supplement that I feel is safe, and I know it works, is Physique by Shaklee Corporation.
I use it after workouts and also right after long hikes or a day of skiing. Little to no discomfort the next day, so I can go back and do it again!
